Dear Metropolis of Atlanta Philoptochos Chapter Presidents:
It is BACK TO SCHOOL time and we are beginning our Philoptochos Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) Initiative within the Atlanta Metropolis.
Our mission is outreach to graduating orthodox high school seniors and those already enrolled in a post high school course of study so that they may be offered Orthodox religious exposure away from home by:
• Gathering contact information on all of these students.
• Distributing data to the National OCF Office, the Southeast OCF Regional Director and to the Philoptochos chapters.
• Using the local Philoptochos chapter to support the OCF chapter in their area and to reach out to the students attending school in their city.
In order to support our mission we request the following from our Metropolis Philoptochos chapters:
Appoint a Chapter OCF Chairman.
Send the OCF Chairman’s name and email address to Kiki Rothman email: kikirothman@gmail.com
Collect email contact information on all of your parish graduating seniors and those currently enrolled in post high school education.
• You may print and use the attached “Orthodox Student Information Form.doc” to collect data from parents and students.
• Use the attached spreadsheet “Student Information Spreadsheet.xls” to enter student contact information
• Use the attached spreadsheet “Student Information Spreadsheet.xls” to enter student contact information
Send the data to your Philoptochos Conference Coordinator.
• See the attached list of Conference Coordinators for each chapter. “Philoptochos Conference Coordinators.xls”
• Email the completed “Student Information Spreadsheet.xls” to your Philoptochos Conference Coordinator.
• Email the completed “Student Information Spreadsheet.xls” to your Philoptochos Conference Coordinator.
Forward copies of the templates and instructions to Orthodox churches of all jurisdictions in or near your city so that their student data may also be included.
The student data that is collected will be sent by the Philoptochos Conference Coordinators to the National OCF Director, to Christopher Hansard our OCF Southeast Regional Director and to the Philoptochos chapter associated with the school your student is attending.

PRINT OUT THE "OCF STUDENT INFORMATION FORM" BELOW -----AND USE IT TO COLLECT THE DATA FROM YOUR STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS.
INPUT THE DATA TO THE "OCF CONTACT SPREADSHEET" BELOW AND EMAIL IT TO YOUR CONFERENCE OCF CHAIR - if you are unable to do this then please mail the handwritten forms to your Conference Chair
